On Friday, October 26, the Quebec Community Newspapers Association (QCNA) will host a professional development day for its members.

The day-long event includes a networking lunch and two educational sessions: a morning session on the essentials of photojournalism with award-winning photojournalist Peter McCabe and an afternoon session titled , ‘Practical Guide to the Quebec Access To Information Act’ with Montreal media lawyer, Mark Bantey.

The event will take place at Le Nouvel Hotel in Montreal, on Friday, October 26, 2012 from 9AM to 4PM.

The registration deadline is Friday, October 19.
