CJF Talk: Journalism, Disrupted: How to Create Media Innovation

On Thursday, January 31, the Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF) will be hosting a journalism talk titled Journalism, Disrupted: How to Create Media Innovation. The panel of speakers will share ideas and insights on what traditional media companies can learn from tech start-ups and how a spirit of innovation can be fostered within newsrooms.

Speakers include Zach Seward, senior editor at Atlantic Media's device-centric business news venture Quartz; Michael De Monte, CEO of ScribbleLive; David Skok, director of digital for Global News and moderator Marissa Nelson, acting director of digital media for CBC News and Centres.

The talk takes place at the TMX Broadcast Centre, The Exchange Tower in Toronto on Thursday, January 31, 2013 from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.
