Advertising Awards (Extras)


Congratulations to the 2014 Extra Award winners!

The Extra Awards celebrate the finest advertising in newspaper media: print, online, tablet, mobile, twitter and more. In other words, advertising that ran in a newspaper (in any format) or was executed by the newspaper organization.

The 2014 Extra's Best of Show winner is Leo Burnett with its outstanding execution for IKEA, "Boy meets Girl". Leo Burnett also collected the highest number of awards, earning a total of fourteen honours for advertisers IKEA, Raising the Roof, TD Bank and Procter & Gamble’s Bounce.

2015 entries will open on May 1, 2015 for ads run in any newspaper (any format) during the period June 1, 2014 to May 31, 2015. Begin collecting your best work – ads can be submitted by any involved party: media or creative agency, freelancer, advertiser or newspaper.
