Canada’s largest newspaper conference just got bigger!

In 2012, Newspapers Canada, the voice of Canada’s 830 daily and community newspapers, will partner for the first time with the Canadian Association of Journalists (CAJ), as well as the Ontario Community Newspapers Association (OCNA), the prestigious National Newspaper Awards and the Canadian Circulation Management Association (CCMA) to make a powerful statement about the strength and vitality of Canada’s newspaper industry.

The CCMA and CAJ conferences will be the bookends for the week’s events and, under the INK+BEYOND umbrella, will share some programming.

Events include:

• April 26 - Canadian Community Newspaper Awards Gala
• April 26-27 - INK+BEYOND Conference and Trade Show
• April 27 - Ontario Community Newspapers Association BNC Awards Gala
• April 27 - National Newspaper Awards Gala
• April 27-29 - Canadian Association of Journalists Conference

Following a sell-out conference in 2011, this year’s conference will also feature an expanded two-day trade show with increased opportunities for exhibitors and sponsors to showcase their products before the decision-makers in Canada’s newspaper industry.
