Daily and community newspapers across Canada are invited to submit samples of their best promotions, ad campaigns and special sections to the 2011 Great Ideas Awards. This year, the awards program has been updated to include advertising and promotion categories honouring creative marketing materials and campaigns developed by newspapers. Community and daily newspapers will be awarded separately and will compete in different circulation classes. Entry deadline is March 4, 2011 and the top entries in each category are displayed during the annual INK+BEYOND conference.
