Alvin Brouwer is joining the senior management team at Glacier Media as president, lower mainland publishing. In his new role, Brouwer will be fully responsible for the day to day operations of Glacier's Lower Mainland Group of Newspapers .

Brouwer has worked in the newspaper industry for over 30 years in numerous capacities  including sales, sales management and distribution, as well as direct operational responsibility. He most recently served as president, business ventures at Postmedia.

Prior to his position at Postmedia, Brouwer was vice-president, advertising and product development at Metroland Media.

Brouwer will begin in his new role at Glacier on Monday July 23rd.
