Harold Munro is the new editor-in-chief at the Vancouver Sun. Munro has worked at the Postmedia-owned newspaper for over 25 years and most recently served as deputy managing editor. The long-time journalist first joined the daily paper in 1986 as an amateur sports reporter. He was appointed city editor in 2001, became chief news editor in 2002 and was promoted to deputy managing editor in 2003.
Munroe replaces the Sun’s previous editor-in-chief, Patricia Graham who was promoted to vice-president, digital for Postmedia’s Pacific Newspaper Group in October 2011.
