Ontario newspaperman Jim Thomas has received a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition of his 63-year career in journalism. Thomas was presented with the award by the Whitchurch-Stouffville Chamber of Commerce at a Business Recognition Awards evening hosted on October 1. Thomas has written for numerous Stouffville area newspapers including Metroland-owned Stouffville Sun.
