Former Halifax Herald publisher Graham Dennis has been posthumously invested into the Order of Nova Scotia. Dennis, who passed away in December of 2011, began his newspaper career as a carrier at just five-years-old. He became the publisher at his family’s newspaper company, The Halifax Herald Limited, at age 26 and went on to become one of Canada's longest-serving newspaper publishers, working in the leadership role for over 57 years.
Dennis, along with four other inductees, were selected from 84 nominations and will be recognized at an investiture ceremony in Halifax on November 28.
