In British Columbia, Pierre Pelletier has been named the new publisher and advertising director for the Courier-Islander and North Islander newspapers. Pelletier previously served as group publisher for Glacier Media’s Kootenay region newspapers.

Neil Cameron, who had been performing the duties of both publisher and editor at the Courier Islander, will now take on full time editorial duties as managing editor.

Former advertising director Paul Somerville will become the new business development manager.
