Paul Bucci, director, digital products for Pacific Newspaper Group, has been recognized for his work in the newspaper indsutry with a Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal. In his current position, Bucci is the publisher of vancouversun.com, theprovince.com, taiyangbao.ca and vancouverdesi.com. Bucci previously held numerous editorial positions at The Vancouver Sun including deputy managing editor, digital; business editor and city editor.

Before joining The Vancouver Sun in 1999, Bucci was a reporter and editor at a variety of newspapers, including the London Free Press and the Edmonton Sun.The award-winning journalist also served as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces.

A total of 60,000 Queen’s Jubilee medals will be awarded to private citizens throughout Canada in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth’s 60-year reign.
