Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medals have been awarded to three more newspaper publishers in honour of their career achievements and community service. Marty Klyne, publisher and CEO of both The StarPheonix in Saskatoon and the Leader-Post in Regina; Linda Mallett, editor and publisher of the Lanigan Advisor in Lanigan, SK; and Cindy Gu, president and publisher of Epoch Times Canada, were presented with the prestigious awards at recognition ceremonies held last week.

A total of 60,000 Queen’s Jubilee medals will be awarded to private citizens throughout Canada this year in commemoration of Queen Elizabeth’s 60-year reign.
