Eric Morrison has been appointed senior vice-president of editorial for Sun Media, a subsidiary of Quebecor. According to an article in the Toronto Sun, Morrison will “lead a reorganization of the company's news operations across all platforms.” In his new role, Morrison will be responsible for a restructured national editorial team that will work to integrate Sun Media’s English-language news network including newspapers, websites and broadcast channels.

Morrison has previously served as president of The Canadian Press and as an award-winning journalist and broadcast executive for CTV.
