Canadian Community Newspaper Awards celebrate the very best in community publishing from across the country. Newspapers compete against other newspapers in similar circulation classes and are judged by an esteemed panel of industry experts.

Looking for the advertising and promotional categories? Community newspapers are able to enter advertising and promotional categories in the Great Idea Awards. Four adverting and promotion categories from the Canadian Community Newspaper Awards have now been integrated into the Great Idea Awards program. 

New this year – Online registration
Newspapers Canada is pleased to provide a new online entry platform for the 2012 competition. Participants can now register and complete entry forms online. Newspaper tearsheets will continue to be submitted in hard-copy.

Early-bird prize
Enter before the early-bird deadline of Wednesday, January 11, 2012 for a chance to win up to $ 1,500 to use towards the cost of attending the INK+BEYOND conference and trade show in Toronto on April 26-27, 2012.

Final entry deadline: Wednesday, January 18, 2012.

Eligibility
The Canadian Community Newspaper Awards areonly open to CCNA members in good standing. Entries must have been published between January and December 31 of each year.

Award presentation
An Awards Gala wil be held each year in conjunction with the INK+BEYOND conference.
