Entry fee: Flat fee of $50 plus 13% HST per newspaper.

Rules and Eligibility

• The Great Ideas Awards are open to all CCNA and CNA-member newspapers in good standing as of December 31, 2011.
• Newspapers may submit a maximum of five (5) entries per category. However, the same promotion cannot be submitted in multiple categories.

Submission Details

• A link to download entry forms will be provided upon completion of registration
• Please complete and submit a Great Idea Awards entry form AND sample(s) of promotional materials – ads, mailings, special sections, etc. for each individual entry.
• All entries must be submitted in Portable Document Format (PDF) except for entries in the Magazine category which can be submitted in hard copy.
• Entries must be clearly identified and include the name of the paper, the category, and circulation class.
• Entries published in sister papers must be entered in the circulation class applicable to the largest-circulation paper. Entries that do not meet this requirement will be disqualified.
• If you are submitting a number of electronic entries, it may be easier to put all documentation for each entry in its own folder and either .zip the folder and email it, or copy the folder to disc and courier it to Great Idea Awards, Newspapers Canada, 890 Yonge Street, Suite 200, Toronto, ON, M4W 3P4.
• If files are too large to transmit by email, FTP details are provided upon completion of registration
